If you have been my reader since February, you would know that I came from a terrible break up with the father of my child and how I was managing to function and be a mother to my child.
There were days that I still cry to be honest but most of the time, I'm okay, well, I'm trying to be okay. I tried to be busy with my blog and I recently started filming again for my youtube channel. I lost passion in creating videos back when I was pregnant because I feel that I'm ugly, to be honest.
Luckily, I already surpassed that stage and now, here I am confident as ever (yey, self!)
I've been looking to different pictures and I was really amazed by how makeup enhances their beauty so I used it to probably enhance what I have right now.
It's been almost three (3) months since we broke up. Take note, we didn't have a proper closure and hasn't asked about our son since. He also denying that he's the father to his family and he's also saying that I had sex with other people that's why he is not the father.
It was my turning point. I said to myself that I need to get up and go on with my life without him. What's the point of doing nothing and crying right? It's pointless and all the things that I was doing at that time won't make him come back for us (me and Edmund) so I decided that even if I didn't want to raise my son alone, I have to and I will. I'll prove him wrong.
I got up and started vlogging again, I cleaned my brushes and started making art. My face was my canvass and my inspiration was this hurt that I'm feeling inside.
This is also the first time that I worked with highlighter. I kind of feel that highlighter was not really good on me but I tried it for the first time and it absolutely made a difference. I went on a very easy makeup look because I honestly am not fond of heavy makeup because first, I don't know how to achieve the look and second, my makeup are limited.
Here are the items that I used to achieve this look:
FOR FACE:
Foundation- BH Cosmetics Liquid Foundation (Medium Olive)
Concealer- Maybelline Mineral Concealer(Shade: 02)
Setting Powder- Nichido Final Powder (So Natural)
FOR EYEBROWS:
Eyebrows: Etude House Drawing Eye Brow
Eyebrow Mascara: Daiso Eyebrow Mascara (Clear)
FOR EYES:
Eyelids: BH Cosmetics 28 Color Eyeshadow (Neutral Eyes)
Eyelashes: Maybelline Hyper Curl Mascara
FOR CHEEKS
Contour: Jazzy Collection Brown Matte Eyeshadow
Highlight: Forever Glam BH Cosmetics (I used the highlighter there- my only highlighter)
Blush: Wet n Wild Blush- Mellow Wine
FOR LIPS
Lip Liner: Nichido Lip Liner (Rosette)
Lipstick: Ever Bilenna Matte Lipstick (Mauvey)
I'm really happy by the final look of my makeup, it's really easy to do and it can be used on a daily basis, if you have interviews or if you just need to run errands. It really suits different skin tones, since neutralis colors are good for everyone.
I know that my makeup isn't that perfect but I know that I'll achieve my goal when it comes to doing makeup and teaching makeup. I'm in no position to call myself a makeup guru, I just do whatever I think works on my face. That's the beauty of makeup, you can be whoever and whatever you want to be.
I'm starting to collect makeups again and playing with it because I will continue my youtube goal before, to have proper tutorials that will help people as what beauty youtube content creators are doing for me. I am starting with collecting foundations that are very much affordable and when I say it's affordable I mean really affordable. I wanted to achieve Jaclyn Hill or Nikkietutorials's makeup (if I can) using affordable products that can be achieve by ladies out there that're on budget.
