Upside Down Museum Experience

By Mhownai - January 20, 2020

Last November 2019, Jerico and I celebrated our First Year Anniversary. Our goal is simple- go to Manila Zoo, have a spa day, and dinner. Little did we know Manila Zoo was closed for renovation so our first agenda for our anniversary needs to be changed.

Immediately, we spent almost half of the day in Wensha Spa near CCP. It was amazing and relaxing. After we had our spa session, we noticed that the Upside Down Museum was literally behind Wensha Spa, out of curiosity we went inside and was immediately astounded by several murals that we can be interactive and take fun photos inside.

I have always been curious as to how fun upside-down photos were made and- I HAVE FOUND THE ANSWER!

We paid 450 pesos per person inside and since we bought big bags, we need a locker. Well, lockers are rented there which I believe should be provided for free since the ticket was quite expensive either way, 150 pesos for a locker is not that expensive.

Jerico and I decided to roam around the area and I was really shy to pose for photos, it is not really my type, to be honest, but with Jerico's encouragement, I was able to pull off poses and felt more confident.

Here are some of the photos we accumulated in the museum:

What I really liked about the museum are the staff, they don't only assist us and welcomed everyone, they also became directors and photographers which was absolutely amazing. There is staff roaming around and assigned to each station wherein they will teach you how to do the pose and they will take the photo for you- they are a huge help because Jerico and I know nothing about how to pose and such. Alam niyo naman ako, puro lang ako pacute. HAHAHA!

It may be a little over the budget but seeing how the staff entertained us and the delightful experience we had on the museum, it is absolutely worth it. I highly recommend bringing friends and children under 3 may not enjoy the museum that much.
