THE BOOK
This is a story of a 'mean girl' Kit Castille who by far have the most amazing job, relationship and all the things that every girl wishes to have- romantic dates, perfect engagement proposal and yumminess boyfriend. Basically she's living the life that every girl wishes to have. This is the story about her life after she got engaged and had a chance encounter of another yummy papable chinito guy.
This is no-mainstream type of story, this is far from drama and not-so-romantic shit cliche stories that we *not gonna lie* used to read.
The book cover is really nice and well thought, the design was really cute and simple.
I started reading this in the morning and I was able to finish it by sun down. Which really shows that I did enjoy and got hooked by the book, not because it's short story but because I just love the story over all. I haven't got the chance to let my partner take a picture of me while reading because I didn't have a chance to take a bath early *yes, I'm a human and I got so lazy that time* and I just look shit that time. So I decided to just take pictures of the book instead.

INSIGHTS
As I have said, this is not your typical story, this is no drama cliche shit that we used to read.
I was chatting Kath the other day telling her that I really love and enjoyed her book and not gonna lie- this is not what I've expected outcome from this book. Honestly. Let me redeem myself, I lost faith in Filipino authors because the stories were just repeating. Boy-meets-girl with a bitch mangaagaw but it will end on a happy ever after so that's what I'm thinking when I first got the book and reading the pdf files that she used to send to me but I'm glad, I was wrong. Totoo nga yung kasabihan na "Don't judge the book by it's cover"
I'm just so tired of reading endless yet repeating dramatic backstory. Gahd!
What I really like about this book is because I never got bored with this book. You actually know when you're reading a good book is when you want it to finish as soon as possible to know the ending but still, you don't want to end it- that kind of feeling.
I was able to relate to this book. When I'm reading I was just telling in the back of my mind "Fudge, akong-ako naman yata 'to!" Yes, I am happily inlove with my partner for 3 years and was engaged recently (yes, oo sobrang bata) but heaven knows how hard we tried to keep this fire burning because of too many temptation- third parties and what-not and especially time, how can I manage my time when I have too many things to handle at one (studies, blog, parents, friends, boyfriend) we came to a point that I wanted to give up on him but still, he's with me and we're together. For real. Not gonna lie, some parts of the story happened in real life. Take if from me.
This is just the most amazing book that I've ever read, by far and what I really like about this book is the author's writing technique. Walang keme, siyang-siya. She's not trying to be perfect, she's just expressing herself using her talent, she's just real. She's reaching out to her reader as a friend.
This is a must-read book and for 200 pesos, your money will never go to waste.
You can grab this on the following bookstores above for only 200 php. You can also avail this book at UniQube PH, 3F University Mall, Taft Avenue.
