Basketball fanatics! I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy my post today, get a chance to meet the star players of the UAAP basketball teams.

The host school, National University will be holding the first ever Season 81 pre-event: The Last One Standing: 1-on-1 Hoop Challenge that will be happening on August 17 at the Sm Mall of Asia.

This one-day basketball tournament will pit players of participating UAAP teams against each other on a 1-on-1 basketball challenge. Also several challenges like Slam Dunk Contest, 3-point shootout, and Skills Challenges.

What's more?
There will be men and women's division for each challenge except for the Slam Dunk Contest which is only available for men only.

There are 8 participants per division split into two groups, furthermore, the tournament will have a single round robin format with the top two players of each group that will be advancing to the semi-finals and the last two remaining players will play in the finals.

The winners will get up to Php 20,000 worth of products and gift certificates from SM Supermalls!

I love taking pictures especially now that I became a mom, I don't want to miss on important happenings in our life most especially on Edmund.

With all the photos and videos that I accumulated through the years, the problem that I have is how can I preserve them? I know I can upload them on Facebook or Google Photos or even burn it on a CD for future use if we want to take a look at it from time to time, however, the problem is "What if these photos and videos will be deleted accidentally?"


Others would suggest to print it and put it in a photo album, but the problem is some materials can cause the photo to get ruined. So I come to think of a different way to preserve Edmund's memories.


When I found about Story Book, I am very excited to try them out because I know that this will give a twist to showcasing the progress of Edmund's life. What you just need to do is go to their website http://www.storybook.ph/ after that, you just choose from different products that they offer but for me, I chose their Classic Landscape, prices start from 624.



Then you just have to upload the photos that you want to be imprinted and will be compiled in a book-like album.


What I really love about their storybook is first, they have a wide range of styles and themes that you can choose from, also, you may create a collage which is I find peculiar in some of the photo book applications available on the market. Also, you may put some stickers and text to make it more personalized but here in Edmund's storybook, I opt for a blue background with texts only and collage, the simpler, the better.


All in all, I'm very impressed with their product and I'm looking forward to creating more storybook with them.

If you have been a long follower in my blog, you would know that I suck at skincare but still, I wanted to have a good looking skin but I'm too lazy do all these skincare steps because for me it's not worth my time, nevertheless, I am still aiming to find the perfect products to share with you guys.

I was thinking to try masks but there are various reasons why it makes me not to buy sheet masks. First, it's expensive (let's talk about 60 pesos for a one use of sheet mask). First, I want to rave about the scent- it smells legit and it smells expensive. I really love how the scent stays longer in my skin after I rinsed it on my face and even on my hands, mind you guys, I have dry hands so I'm deeply surprised when this smoothed out my hands as well. Also, it did make my skin radiant after rinsing but the most thing that I liked about the product is that it has real petals that gently exfoliate my skin, this is the most luxurious product that I've tried EVER because the normal products have microbeads that exfoliate my skin but this is very different so I'm so fascinated!

This product came from the young green tea leaves and its rich in Vitamin C and has anti-oxidants. It has real green tea leaf pieces and fine grounded tea that can purify and hydrate the skin by removing micro unwanted residue that clogs the pores furthermore it will help your skin brighten every after use.

Thoughts about the product


I am surprised that the green tea scent is not so strong to the point that I will sneeze. I really love the refreshing feeling that it gives me after I rinse the product and at the same time it leaves a hint of scent on my skin. Furthermore, it leaves my skin so smooth. One thing I've noticed though is the green tea leaves are much finer compared to the rose (which has bigger chunks of petals) but I can still feel chunks of leaves but I prefer larger ones but I'm as amazed as with the rose edition

1. Remove all your makeup and dry your skin
2. Use your facial cleanser (I highly recommend the Contour Cleanser from Althea Korea- check my review about their product)

I'm back with another product first impression. I'm so thankful for all the brands who chose to work with me despite the not-so-long queue posts and hectic schedule.

Stainer PH is one of the brands I collaborated this July and generously sent me their products for review, I received 5 lip and cheek tint, 2 lip balms, and 1 eyebrow pomade. When I received their product I was very excited to swatch it but I hold my excitement and decided to go and film it on camera instead.


Before we go over with their products, Stainer PH claims that her products are 100% organic and safe for children, pregnant and lactating moms- for me, this is a very good start, though I'm now in the process of weaning Edmund, still I want to make sure that my milk is healthy so I avoid using chemical based products as much as possible.

Lipstains
Price: 150 pesos / 10ml
Ingredients: Vitamins C, E & F, Fruit and Aloe Vera extract, Glycerine, Rose Water, Olive Oil, Grapeseed, Jojoba Oil and Virgin Coconut Oil

I am a big fan of the scent, sweet and no bitter aftertaste. It's also moisturizing and didn't have a hard time removing the pigments on the lips.

My favorite shade? Pagirl for natural looking lips and Pashookt for a more edgier look

Lip balm
Price: 150 pesos / 10 ml
Ingredients: Tocopherol, Beeswax, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Virgin Coconut oil, Flavor Oil, and Colorants

Thoughts: It's very moisturizing, it has a very distinct smell that I'm getting, like a chocolate scent of some sort maybe because of the Cocoa Butter. I really loved the pigments because I didn't have to spend a long time to swipe the balm before it shows the pigment. I also tried the retractable, I think the Intregera has a problem with the retractable when you try to bring it back on the tube, I need to push it further so the product will go down but it's not a problem with me though.


I really love the Intrigera because you would know how I'm into dark shades of lipsticks and tints because it really shows my personality. For me, Charotera is a bit light for me, I am not into light shades of balms because I don't think it suits me well, I was thinking to mix Intrigera and Charotera and let's see what happen. I'll keep you posted. Also, love that this product has SPF 15 which is perfect for on the go women who are always on the road.

Eyebrow Pomade
Price: 175 pesos / 10grams
Ingredients: Hair grower, Biotin Oil, Castor Oil and Jamaican Black


Thoughts: This is my first time to use an eyebrow pomade so I'm not really sure what to expect but then I used BH Cosmetics Brow Brush and spoolie because it didn't have a brush that comes with it. At first I was skeptical to use it because I'm more comfortable in using brow pencil to applying my eyebrows however, I still tried it, also, I find it hard to swatch it on my arm that's why there's no swatch on my arm because the pigment was not as creamy as I've expected. Nevertheless, it gave me the shade that I was expecting, the dark brown was not reddish at all that's why I'm very happy with the color pay off, the pomade was lacking creaminess on the formula for me so some of my eyebrows was not so in place as soon as I applied it but I'm very happy with the outcome it looks on my face and I'm not afraid to use it in the future.


Also, I'm not really sure if they have a set that has a brush but pretty sure they do.
