Working at home can be a very comfortable job but I am experiencing heavy problems whenever my migraine attacks as the reason that my eyes' condition worsens as time gone by because I'm always in front of the computer, having no choice but I have to wear glasses but even if I had a screen-protective layer on my glasses sometimes. My migraine occurs especially whenever I haven't had a long slumber which frequently happens now since I'm more into working and studying at the same time and though I have so many things on my plate right now, I'm trying my best to make amends meet and providing good quality output for all my clients, employers, and professor.

Whenever I need to work and my migraine occurs, I would tend to drink paracetamol in particular, Advil which makes it better but sometimes, I realized that too much drinking paracetamol would not be helpful in my body in the long run.


I've heard that essential oils are a great way to ease your stress and improve your health, I was very fascinated with all the positive comments that I've been reading here and there but the problem is, it's quite expensive and to be honest, as a tipid mom who making the best out of my salary, I would say spending thousand is out of my comfort zone. So I was very lucky that I was able to stumble to this product- Oil Benders.

They sent me three different products from their line: 2 essential oil in a rollerball applicator and one Body Scrub

1. Shoo, Grumpy Roll-On 
This would help you release anger, frustration and negative feelings. It is also beneficial since it can be used just to rub it on their clothes to calm them down.

2. Keep your cool
It is another essential oil that helps you relax because of its cooling effect. This is good for your headache since there is a peppermint oil which is good for relieving headaches. However, this one is not recommended for kids since there are strong scents that might irk kid's nose.


3. Body Scrub
This acts as a soap and can be diluted in the bathtub that would immensely change your sleep, it will make you calm down and remove negative feelings right before you sleep.


How to use it:
If no bathtub: scoop a generous amount and rub in your body, if you're breastfeeding, refrain from putting your product in your nipples and rinse it after

If you own a bathtub: dilute into 1/2 to full cup into the water

Oil Benders for tantrums


My son is not throwing tantrums anywhere, he was just a good boy and understands the situation but just like any other kids, of course, there were bad days. One time, I tried to rub the Shoo, Grumpy Roll-On to his Sando and rock him to sleep and mind you at that moment, he threw an Oscar-winning tantrum. To my surprise, he was not grumpy in his sleep, whenever he has bad vibes, he just latches on my nipple but after he got asleep, he fell into a deep sleep so I'm very impressed and I've been using the product ever since, I have it on my baby bag.

Like I've mentioned, my migraines are occurring here and there and good thing that I have it covered because of Keep your Cool, I always have it on my table where I spend most of the time working. Also, the scent was perfect if you have a runny nose. Though sometimes when a migraine was too strong, I still drink meds for fast reactions, Keep your cool help me have a good sleep whenever I have migraines. Not gonna lie, I feel skeptical at first because I still like my trusty old Efficascent oil and Katinko because of their menthol capabilities but now, I found my all time favorite and bring it with me everywhere I go.

I must say, I am not into putting so many products on my body but I manage to use it whenever I feel stressed and I need to bath at the end of the day which I would say, Oil Benders is on top of the relaxing game. You know you have days that you are so stressed and you know you still have so many pending jobs the next day, and you can't sleep because the thought of those pending stuff just keeps you awake, with their body scrub, I am more relaxed and even though sometimes I still find it hard to sleep at least I'm not that aggravated with all the upcoming deadlines here and there.

In the past weeks, Vivo has been posting snippets on its social media accounts with a video of a fingerprint depicted like a spiral galaxy in an apparent reference to its pioneering In-Display Fingerprint Scanning Technology. Another teaser was a video of a launch of a space rocket and the third one was another video of the moon with a curved line emphasizing its shape.

Hmm. This is a very serious trend among its patrons because let me tell you Vivo released awesome smartphones these past years and we're sure excited for more.

Vivo has been on top global among all smartphone brands for its high-technology innovations that impressed the world several times over, no doubt that they became the pioneer of several consumer-centric smartphone designs.

On August 20, the fastest growing smartphone brand has teased tech-savvy followers with a series of mysterious videos posted on its social media pages. The latest was a video of the moon with its shape emphasized by a curved line, a hint of the look of the next flagship smartphone.


For its latest smartphone releases, Vivo has pushed the boundaries of the screens based on various studies and insights into what its consumers want.

In 2017, Vivo released the V7+, which has a 5.99-inch AllScreen Display that offers a wider visual experience without compromising a comfortable grip. This gives those on the go a chance to enjoy a bigger screen for gaming, reading, or watching videos.

Vivo followed up the V7+ with the release of the V9 in 2018. It was their first flagship smartphone for the year with the notch. The V9 features the new 19:9 FullView™ Display that has a massive 90% screen-to-body ratio that gives users a wider look into the digital world. The Vivo V9 may be as compact as the 5.5-inch phone, but it was able to attain a 6.3-inch screen.

Halfway through the year, Vivo released the Vivo X21, its first X-series smartphone in the Philippines. It still has an iconic 19:9 FullView™ Display. But it has a bigger screen-to-body ratio of 90.3% to provide a more impactful visual experience for gamers and video hoarders.

But Vivo was able to get closer to its target when the Vivo NEX was released in some markets in June. The NEX introduces the Ultra FullView™ Display experience with a whopping 91.24% screen-to-body ratio. Vivo was able to achieve this by pioneering the 8-megapixel Elevating Front Camera that hides in the body when not in use. It also introduces the Screen SoundCasting Technology that replaces the traditional earpiece speaker entirely and cutting the bezel size. 

With these releases, Vivo has proven that the window to the digital world has no limits. What barriers will the brand break next?

Hi-Fi Music



One of the first changes Vivo applied in their technology is installing a dedicated Hi-Fi quality audio chip in its smartphone, thus making it the first brand that gave proper attention to its handsets' sound quality.

Vivo introduced its Hi-Fi Quality Audio Chip in X1 in 2012.

Continuing their success in their flagship models. The Vivo X21 is now equipped with the AK4376A Hi-Fi audio chipset enhanced with Deep Field technology. This was developed by Vivo to provide a panoramic sound with mega bass, clear voice effects, and various environmental audio effects to allow users to elevate their audio experience.

The Hi-Fi audio quality of Vivo X21 provides a close-to-reality that can instantly upgrade the two-channel music to 360-degree full surround or continuously push the natural bass into the ears to bring the clearest and brightest vocals.

Over 20-MP front cameras


As more people are more particular with their selfies, Vivo made sure that their models will have the most high-quality photo with their 20-megapixel dual front camera in V5 Plus. Thus, making the first ever smartphone brand to do so.

Then, followed up by the 24-MP front camera in V7 and V7+. Did you know that Vivo V7+ was hailed as the best selfie phone in 2017 by many tech blogs and sites?

V9 followed the innovative way of taking selfies with their 24-MP AI-powered selfie camera proving that Vivo never stops to push their limits in perfecting the features that matter most to its patrons.

Bezel-less screens


Aside from its selfie-centric developments, Vivo is also the first among all brands who enhanced their screen display.

Last February, at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona, Spain, Vivo revealed a wonderful concept to the phone called the APEX™ FullView™ that features a typical 5.99-inch screen, but its screen-to-body ratio nearly reaches 100%. This only proved that Vivo was really committed to producing a genuine bezel-less smartphone in the market.

Meanwhile, the V9 boasts a 90% screen-to-body ratio with its 6.3-inch FullView™ Display.

Vivo X21 has a 6.28-inch 19:9 FHD+ FullView™ Displays. It has a super slim notch and a 1.66mm side bezels to achieve a 90.3% screen-to-body ratio to provide a wider viewing experience compared to other similar-sized phones.

Despite all their impressive development, Vivo still continues to create more. In fact, Vivo NE has an Ultra FullView™ Display with a 91.24% screen-to-body ration, achieved by introducing industry-first features like the Elevating Front Camera and Screen SoundCasting Technology.

In-display fingerprint scanner


Vivo is also a pioneer in developing ultramodern yet convenient unlocking methods in smartphones and recently revealed that it has advanced the fingerprint scanning method by making the technology available on the screen.

In fact, it debuted the first, ready-to-produce in-display fingerprint scanning solution at the Consumer Electronics Show 2018 in Las Vegas last January.

In June 2018, Vivo introduced the Vivo X21 in the Philippines with its amazing In-Display Fingerprint Scanning Technology that replaces a rear fingerprint sensor with the latest under-display scanner.

Pop-out camera


Vivo surprised the world early 2018 with the release of its concept smartphone APEX that achieves a nearly 98% screen-to-body ratio. APEX features an 8-MP Elevating Front Camera that seamlessly rises in 0.8 seconds when it is required and retracts after use.

This technology was made commercially available when NEX was released in June 2018. It has an 8MP Elevating Front Camera that is inside the smartphone’s body when not in use.

Screen SoundCasting


As APEX drastically changed the game in smartphones, it also has a different approach in the audio called Screen SoundCasting Technology which was launched for commercial release in the Vivo NEX. It replaced the traditional earpiece speaker by turning a screen into a speaker. It achieves this by sending vibrations through the screen with the exciter unit.

This allows Vivo to reduce the top bezel and to enhances sound quality with more powerful bass, and softer, smoother treble.

TOF 3D Sensing Technology


Vivo revealed its Time of Flight (TOF) 3D Sensing Technology at MWC Shanghai 2018. It promises a paradigm shift in imaging, AR, and human-machine interaction to elevate consumer lifestyles with new levels of immersion and smart capability. This pioneering TOF 3D Sensing Technology detects the time it takes emitted pulse light to return to the sensor to accurately map objects at up to three meters in front of it.

With these developments under its belt, Vivo has proven itself to be a force to reckon with. And as it continues to grow, tech enthusiasts can only expect nothing game-changing innovations from Vivo. But really, what more can we ask from a brand that has been leading the way to the future of the smartphone industry?

I always love butter to my bread whether it's toasted or just filling, I would consider myself as a butter junkie.

Usually, I always put the plain butter on my toast but when I found out that there are other flavors of butter in the market we tried the garlic flavored butter because of course, who doesn't want garlic bread, right? But the thing is, the flavor was so artificial, you can't feel the garlic at all at the same time, some butter is kind of blunt because I love a creamy butter on my toast paired with a hot creamy coffee.

But I haven't talked much about the butter itself so I made a separate post dedicated to the product and my thoughts about it.

Butter Up PH has a variety of flavored butter hand-made from compound butter. Compound butter is made by mixing the butter base with supplementary ingredients like garlic, parmesan cheese, white truffle oil, parsley, chives bacon to elevate the flavor so consumers may devour to this exquisite flavors after they incorporate the butter to any dishes their butter base, on the other hand, is made from French butter.

Shelf Life

Butter Up lasts longer if you keep it refrigerated but it's usually good for 3 months. But I'm sure that when you get a chance to taste its flavor, you would surely come back for more.



Butter Up's Versatility

Butter Up Ph can not only be used for spreads but you can incorporate it with other ingredients like steaks, mashed potatoes, and sunny side eggs, furthermore, you can also drizzle it on your popcorn for added flavor but for me, I still like the traditional butter on toast but better.


Aside from spreading it on my toast, I also tried to incoporate it in my pancake, and who would have thought that garlic works really well with sweet breakfast, right? It added another layer of flavor in my meal, wow!

Butter Up has two flavors available in the market: Garlic and Parmasean (150 php) and Bacon and Chili (175 php)


Taste

Compared to the other flavored butter that I've tried, with Butter Up Ph, you can taste the butter and the garlic, in fact, there's garlic bits that was added in the butter. Though the garlic was so strong with this but since I love garlic, I didn't mind having a garlic breath after (though it's not a good idea to eat this without brushing your teeth). Oh did I mentioned that I personally tried their Garlic and Parmasean variant because I am still scared to try their Bacon and Chili- I'm hate spicy food so I don't think I have the courage to try it *haha* but I would love to, just let me grab some courage.


Speaking with the Garlic and Parmasean, I thought it will be somehow salty because butter and cheese, right? But I was wrong, it was simply savoury and the layer of flavors really burst in my mouth every after bite! Highly recommended!

Purchasing and having your very own signature scent can be quite challenging because there are some factors that you need to consider when buying perfumes which I do not really know but all that I know is not all scents will work well with everyone as there are some factors that you need to consider like if you are acidic or if you're sweaty because it will affect with the overall scent of the product.

I've been loving the scents of Vanilla and Sakura all over my body because it compliments us well but when it comes to perfume, I've been loving Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom and Honey layered with Peony and Blush Suede- it is my all-time favorite.

But let's admit it, it's too expensive- a bottle of Jo Malone here in the Philippines is crazy so I tend not to use mine daily rather I'd like to wear them on certain occasion because it's just too pricey so I have no choice but finding the perfect body spray that would compliment my body.


Perfume Dessert had a wide range of dessert-themed scents that would suit everyone's needs and personality.

Being a mom, I made sure that everything that I use to him is safe and that includes the smallest detail from shampoo down to powder. However, it's obvious that we don't stick with one brand because I want to experiment and if there's a cheaper alternative- the better.

I have always been suffering from dry hands and cuticles every since I was in high school, growing up, I used to have like dry skin coming out of the fingernails that I used to pull and it will bleed and hurt like crazy but the drying got worse after I got pregnant and gave birth maybe because I used to do all the housework all by myself and I was kind of allergic to some of the laundry detergents that I used when I wash my clothes.

So the only solution? Heavy duty lotion at night and hand cream during the day. I must say it improved my hand and though my skin still dries every now and then, now with proper hand care, the dry cuticle is somehow manageable.


With constant find of the perfect hand cream for me, I stumble upon this product- U:RE Cosmetic's Locchild Moisturizing Hand Cream and for my first thought, what would make this 380 pesos worth of hand cream different than the ones that I've used which are more affordable.

As soon as I get the product, I immediately realized why this product is so different than other hand creams that I own.

Let us talk about the packaging first

First, the packaging was on point I would say, I immediately fell inlove with the package with its shabby chic design it's so elegant. The box was matte with an embossed pattern with gold accents that have the same style on the tube. The ingredients were listed on the right portion of the box written in both Korean and American. At the back, there's a brief description of the product, unfortunately, I can't read it because it's written in Korean. I really love the shabby chic design that they have. It's really elegant I would say, I'm fascinated.


The tube matched well with the color of the box and has a pinkish red colored cap.


The only thing that I find missing with their packaging is the expiry date which is essential since there are users specially who don't use hand creams that often would know if the product is still good to use but in my case that I constantly reapply this product throughout the day, I don't mind it as I'm positive that I'll be finishing this product in no time.

Performance of the product

In choosing hand creams, I always make sure that the product has a thick consistency so that my skin will be easily moisturized. Also, I'm aiming for a scent that is not strong because I have allergies with strong scents or sometimes it makes my nose irritated throughout the day.


With U:RE Cosmetic's Locchild Moisturizing Hand Cream, I really loved how their product has a mild scent (not so fragrant but not odorless) I really appreciate it's consistency and also how easily my hand seeps the product easily. What I really love about this product is that it's not making my hands greasy which happens in some of the hand creams that I've tried.


Now, my hands are still dry but my dry skin in cuticles lessened and I'm very happy with the result for only applying this product for only 7 days, I am very impressed with this product. I am confident that I can use this anytime anywhere and with its sleek packaging it can fit in your handbag without adding so much weight.
