This is a very old blog that I should've posted last year but I couldn't remember the name of the resort but since I can't remember the name of the resort that we've stayed in, I'd rather not talk about the resort itself but our experience.
So my mom's officemates and her organized a Christmas Party at Real, Quezon and my mom decided to bring us along because breathing fresh air would be really good for our health most especially with Edmund's lungs.
We left the Metro very early to avoid the traffic, so while driving, I was really amused by the beauty of the sunrise, I couldn't help but take a picture.
It took around 5 to 6 hours to arrive at the resort and by the time we arrived there, good thing he didn't vomit on the way because he was sleeping throughout our trip. His eyes sparkle as soon as he saw the ocean for the first time, he was honestly excited to go to the ocean and splash through the waves.
We had our breakfast and I changed Edmund to his swimming clothes and I changed in my swim clothes but I scared with the strong waves of the ocean, I can swim but I am just so scared with the strong waves, it can really drag me towards the deep part of the ocean so I'd rather stay on shore and watch my dad and Edmund play. They didn't go too far though so we were able to take more pictures.
Unfortunately, the sun was not on our side during our stay, it drizzle and it rained the entire day, so we stayed in the cottage which was quite boring but I slept good, relaxed somehow, mom and dad were having fun on the Christmas party games. Of course, there were few alcoholic drinks but my dad drank moderately, I didn't drink though because I am still breastfeeding.
So we only stayed overnight which was really sad because I wanted to stay longer and enjoy the relaxing ambience of the resort but I had no choice. So we went ahead back in Manila.
We stopped over at Pilia, Rizal wherein you could see the pretty windmills. I never thought there are windmills here, no need to go to Ilocos.
It was a very fun trip. I was able to know my mom's officemates which were really amazing and I was able to relax even if it was just a short period of time. I hope I can be able to get back to a place wherein I can relax.
